Workers' Compensation Commission (Illinois)

The Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission is established by law to provide benefits to employees who become injured on the job. As a State agency, the Commission administers the judicial process that resolves disputed claims between employees and employers. Commission staff can explain procedures and basic provisions of the law to claimants, but cannot provide legal advice or serve as an advocate on behalf of an employee or an employer. For this reason, having an attorney at your side to be your personal advocate can make a world of a difference.

Temporary Visitor Driver's License (Illinois)

Beginning in December 2013, the Illinois Secretary of State's office will offer driver's licenses to undocumented persons who meet each of the specified requirements and correctly complete the application process, including all required paperwork. While the application process can be completed independently, we recommend working with an attorney to ensure eligibility and that the application is complete, error-free, and has the necessary paperwork.
